Wanting to build on my prior UX projects and to further develop my skills, I chose to address design and usability issues with the portal, Veracross, an integral part of daily school life for students, teachers, and parents. I created surveys to identify the main problems shared by all types of Veracross users. I then reached out to UX, Product and Marketing industry leaders for insight and input on my redesign. Finally, I created the wireframes and presented them, as well as my entire process, to my class and a panel of professionals, including the Mount Vernon's Brand Office.
